Reporting to the Global Pharmaceutical Development & Manufacturing (PDM) organization, the Quality Systems Specialist III for Digital Adoption will play a pivotal role in driving a positive user experience across Gilead. In this role, you will execute Gilead's strategy to elevate the user experience for Quality Management Systems by leveraging innovative tools and strategies. You will partner closely with key business stakeholders to maximize the adoption of Quality Management System programs and technologies.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement innovative technology solutions that improve efficiency and enhance the learner experience,

  • Collaborate with Business Leaders to ensure successful adoption of technology solutions.

  • Work closely with Technology teams to integrate digital adoption solutions with other enterprise systems to ensuring seamless data flow, enhance the user experience, and streamline administrative and manual processes.

  • Create intuitive and engaging technology solutions aligned with user needs, conducts user research and usability testing to continuously improve the user experience, and leads collaboration with key stakeholders to create a vision and plan for the seamless integration of learning content, operational processes, and technology solutions.

  • Define use cases and builds content for in-application help and system guidance.

  • Analyze feedback and data capture to improve user experience of software applications.

  • Perform a wide variety of activities to ensure compliance with applicable quality objectives and regulatory requirements.

  • May supervise personnel, including organizing and prioritizing daily tasks, performing training, and writing performance reviews.

  • Participate in writing or suggesting changes to controlled documents (e.g., SOPs, Specifications, Methods, etc.) as needed to ensure defined quality objectives are met.

  • Evaluate and maintain knowledgeable of technology solutions that support successful technology adoption.

Knowledge, Experience and Skills:

  • Demonstrate proficiency in UI/UX, general web functions and standards.

  • Demonstrate proficiency articulating user experience concepts and solutions to advocate for user-centric designs.

  • Demonstrate ability to effectively manage multiple projects/priorities.

  • Has proven analytical and conceptual skills.

  • Demonstrate hands-on experience with web applications and programming languages/tools such as HTML, CSS, and jQuery.

  • Demonstrate excellent verbal communication, technical writing, and interpersonal skills.

  • Demonstrate working knowledge with good proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of relevant experience in instructional design, training, OR process analysis in a GMP environment and a BS or BA. OR 4+ years of relevant experience and a MS.

  • UI/UX Design experience

  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Excellent active listening skills.

  • Ability to design tools to geared towards a modern learner.

Other Preferred qualifications

  • Experience developing in WalkMe or other digital adoption application.

  • WalkMe certification desired

  • Experience with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and/or Good Laboratory Practices (GLPs).

  • Experience with application of QA principles, concepts, industry practices, and standards.

  • Successful experience working independently and with large-scale interdisciplinary teams to achieve results.

  • Able to collaborate with virtual and remote team members across global time-zones.

The salary range for this position is: $115,260.00 - $149,160.00. Gilead considers a variety of factors when determining base compensation, including experience, qualifications, and geographic location. These considerations mean actual compensation will vary. This position may also be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, discretionary stock-based long-term incentives (eligibility may vary based on role), paid time off, and a benefits package. Benefits include company-sponsored medical, dental, vision, and life insurance plans*.
