We are looking for a Quality Systems Engineer. The Quality Systems Engineer manages the plant Quality Management System to comply with industry standards IATF 16949:2016, ISO 9001:2015 and Customer Specific Rerquirements.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
On-going management of Quality systems, processes and procedures.
Plan, lead and conduct internal Quality Assurance audits. Coordinate, evaluate, and assist in developing action plans and follow up of quality issues.
Facilitate client initiated audits. Coordinate and host audits and inspections. Respond to and develop CAs for audit non conforminties. Ensure that CAs are closed out in a timely manner and resolved to client's satisfaction.
Enforce compliance with internal procedures to ensure that established quality and process procedures are always being followed by the appropriate personnel.
Review and approve process and QC documentation to release products for distribution.
Act as quality approver for documents requiring approval from a quality representative.
Manage SOP system. Develop and implement requisite SOPs for IATF 16949 compliance and customer requirements.
Provide internal support and guidance on the applicable processes within the Quality Management System and IATF 16949.
Responsible to schedule and manage the plant LPA (layered process audit) schedule and overall system administration
Responsible to schedule and manage the plant IATF internal audit schedule to include the management of the plant internal auditors within the system.
May be given certain authority within job scope by Manager

Capable of providing support as requested by supervisor.
Required Experience
EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree in related field or 5 years experience in Quality related field. ASQC, Core Tools, Layered Process Audit, Internal Auditor, IATF 16949 certifications desired.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
Sound knowledge of IATF 16949 standard and applicable specific customer requirements.
Experience in Quality Systems and IATF 16949 standard implementation.
Basic understanding of process development methodology in industry, specifically with automotive.
Experience with quality audits and audit hosting.
Presentation skills, including administering employee training sessions and hosting customer quality auditors. Proficiency with MS PowerPoint.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
Experience with using data or electronic document management systems.
