We are in search of a self-driven individual with an attention to detail to continue our path to quality excellence. This position is critical to our business by maintaining our IATF and ISO certification along with leading the pursuit of new certifications to improve our competitive position in the market. This associate will administer and continue development of our Corrective and Preventative Action (CAPA) system. This associate will support these efforts at the Milwaukee Operations and Detroit Sales Office (DSO) locations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Coordinate and schedule internal customer, special activity and third party audits for the Milwaukee and DSO sites for all shifts.
Coordinate follow-up on Corrective Actions and compile audit reports for Milwaukee/DSO sites and management reviews
Identify and coordinate on-going training needed for internal auditors.
Review and report on effect of interpretations and standard changes.
Help with clarification on standard interpretations.
Compile audit and corrective action results for Management Reviews, and other meetings, as needed.
Coordinate up to 50 associates as internal auditors of Quality Management System. Responsibilities include coordinating interviews, assignments, training and planning related work to the quality system.
Setup and facilitate the development of Quality Systems, including but not limited to the Layered Process Audit system at Milwaukee Operations
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
A Bachelor's degree in Quality, Engineering or a related field required.
A minimum of 5 years in a manufacturing environment; automotive manufacturing is a plus.
Ideal candidate must be comfortable and confident presenting to all associates in the company, including Executive leadership.
Proficient with MS word, excel and power point.
Quality System design knowledge preferred but not required.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Lead Auditor Certification preferred but not required.
