Title: Quality Systems Specialist
Location: Charleston, TN or Lake Jackson, TX
Additional locations may include: McIntosh, AL; Plaquemine, LA; St. Gabriel, LA; Niagara Falls, NY
Salary: $74,000 - $145,000
Schedule: Alternative schedule (9-80 Schedule) and/or hybrid schedule with up to 2 days per week work from home may be available

Focus: In this role, you will ensure overall quality control of processes, raw materials, and products in line with regulatory and industry standards to meet customer expectations. Successful candidate will achieve a high level of job satisfaction in self led activities and seeing direct result of their improvement efforts.
Quality Systems Specialist Essential Job Functions:
Plans, leads or coordinates quality related projects
Supports quality work process improvements through the Business Process Improvement (SAP) work process which includes project initiation, solution development, testing and implementation
Develops quality policies, procedures, systems, methodologies, or modifications to ensure high quality products, processes and services
Provides technical support to Division Management, Customer Support, Sales, Quality and Technical Services regarding product quality issues that can impact customer requirements or specifications of products
Assures adequate documentation and reporting of product quality and customer satisfaction as it pertains to quality
Quality Systems Specialist Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree* in Chemistry, Engineering, or Science-related discipline; Master's Degree preferred
3+ years of experience in related laboratory or quality assurance experience
Ability to interpret data and make or recommend adjustments based on findings including utilization of statistical methods
Experience with SAP QM, Sample Manager LIMS and statistical software such as NWA Quality Analyst preferred
Quality data management systems or laboratory information management systems preferred
Prior manufacturing, process or chemical plant experience strongly preferred
Must be able to obtain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC)
