Communicate with Quality Assurance Inspectors (QA) and Quality Engineers (QE) about problems or concerns.
Disposition of non-conformance area with QE approval.
Assist with and maintain control of Quality & Manufacturing data specific forms & work instructions, including distribution/removal of obsolete forms/work instructions.
Create, maintain and update Quality Floor Books for Production.
Assist Production Trainer with training of Operators and Quality Inspectors documentation/procedures/equipment & gages.
Communicate and post all Quality Alerts.
Create and update boundary boards.
Perform monthly analysis of nonconformance area.
Assist with and manage internal sorts as necessary.
Perform and assist with dock audits when required.
Work with Production on continuous improvements as related to Quality.
Provide Customer Support as needed
Assist in calibration as needed
Oversee day to day activities of Quality Inspectors and Launch Containment.
Back-up for Quality Inspectors when needed.
Contribute to the Company Quality Objectives
All other tasks as deemed necessary.
3+ years manufacturing experience in roles of Operations or Quality Supervision
Strong communications skills both written and verbal
Computer Skills MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Root cause analysis techniques
Good measuring skills
Able to read a blue print and differentiate colors
Must be able to work in a team or individual environment
Must have the ability to pay attention to detail
Must be able to work a flexible shift, including overtime and weekends
