Quality Supervisor (Fsqa)

The Deli Source, a subsidiary of Lipari Foods, is currently seeking a Quality Supervisor is responsible for monitoring and maintaining the plants' Quality systems to ensure compliance to internal policies, regulatory guidelines, certifications and customer requirements. This person will assist in the identification and achievement of facility Quality programs through appropriate corrective/preventive actions and continuous improvement initiatives. Along with reporting directly to the Quality Manager, this person will serve as the back-up as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the development and help maintain compliance with various quality related programs including but not limited to CGMP, environmental monitoring, sanitation, allergen, HACCP, Preventive Controls, product recall, traceability, and internal audits

• Assist in quality assurance and quality control programs from receiving to shipment of product

• Conducting GMP, Safety, Food Safety and Pre-Operational inspections

• Manage and build a strong quality technician team through coaching, mentoring and training

• Support the pest control, sanitation, and microbiological testing programs

• Document control and record keeping of daily paperwork

• Uphold food safety standards

• Assist in traceability and recall program

• Serve as back-up to QA Manager/SQF Practitioner

• Assist with training programs for GMP, HACCP, HARPC, allergen, food defense, and other food safety related programs.

• Assist and participate in auditing programs

Position Requirements:

• HACCP Certification required

• SQF Practitioner and/or PCQI Certification preferred

• High School diploma required

• At least one year of experience in Microsoft Office

• 3+ years of Quality Assurance experience

• Labeling experience a plus
