Quality Supervisor

Description:

Key Job Duties: Ensure compliance with the National Sanitation Foundation (NSF) Water Division standards. • Oversee the implementation and compliance of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) - 9001 certification. • Manage controlled documents, nonconformance, and corrective actions using the CORE Compliance Platform associated with the ISO-9001 Quality Management System. • Conduct regularly scheduled internal quality audits and act as the company liaison to external auditors auditing Taylor's quality system. • Implement standardized procedures, key process indicators, and metrics to effectively measure quality assurance of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished products. • Identify critical points in the manufacturing value stream and specify sampling procedures to be used at these points to ensure quality at the source is achieved. • Coordinate the selection and implementation of quality control equipment and ensure the proper maintenance and calibration are accomplished according to a plan. • Use Design of Experiments (DOE) and other systematic, scientific methods to determine the relationship between factors affecting a process and the output of that process. • Spearheaded the collection of data, report writing, and regular briefing of management on the current quality status of key processes - led the Management Review meeting. • Performs duties in the QC/QA Chemist position until further evaluation. • Perform additional duties as required and work extended hours when necessary.
