SuccessFactors' mission is to deliver SAP's cloud assets to customers in order to provide an array of cloud applications, platforms, and infrastructure to establish an advanced end-to-end offering of cloud and on-premise solutions for managing business processes. In particular, SuccessFactors delivers software solutions that optimize our customers' Human Capital Management (HCM) processes and increase the value of their workforces. The Central Quality Services (CQA) Engineering Team, is responsible for ensuring the quality of the application release. The team works closely with developers and product engineering to support quality release. The Quality specialist will play a critical role in defining QA processes and methodologies with the intent of improving overall quality and customer satisfaction by understanding customer use cases and configurations. EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS:
Analyzes, defines, implements and executes quality and test related activities according to a given quality- and test strategy for the product area.
Creates a detailed test design incl. test system landscape requirements and product standards, prepares tests (customizing & master data), authors and executes manual and/or automated tests.
Analyzes test results (issues) and takes appropriate follow-up actions.
Is subject matter expert in the team in terms of quality assurance and test related processes, methods and tools.
Has HCM domain knowledge incl. relevant business processes & scenarios and a basic understanding of customer needs.
Quickly develops advanced overall product and technical knowledge and shares expertise within and across team
Has proficient knowledge about relevant product and process standards, important legal requirements as well as quality assurance and test related tools.
Has basic knowledge and technical competencies of relevant programming languages and related development tools and processes.
Works closely together with others and shares expertise to ensure product success.
WORK EXPERIENCE / SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
2-3 years experience in a QA role
Quality and Software Engineering expertise
Has good knowledge of Core Java and Java script
Knowledge of SQL
Experience with debugging and analyzing complex problems
Experience with Automation frameworks, preferably Selenium
Working knowledge of Jenkins and GIT
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficient with bug tracking and test management toolsets
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATION
Bachelor or Master degree or equivalent education in Engineering
