1. JOB IDENTIFICATION
Job Title: Quality Specialist
Reports to: Quality Manager
Coordinates activities of Quality engaged in a variety of manual tasks on the production lines, offices, lab, etc. responsible for helping implement food safety, training and quality regarding SQF vs 7.2 including Pre-requisite Programs
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.
Knowledge of FDA Food Labeling Guide. Able to research and understand the FDA 21 code.
Knowledge of SQF Verision 8
Development of PSI’s for Customers
Understanding of an Environmental Program, Internal Audit Program, Approved Supplier Program, Label review, Kosher Program and Development of New Products pertaining to Quality Documentation.
Analyzes and resolves work problems, or assists Quality Techs. in solving work problems.
Review of all in process documentation pertaining to all departments
Able to Demonstrate and enforces all GMP’s and safety rules and regulations.
Train employees on proper operation regarding GMP’s and SOP’s that pertain their department.
Interpersonal Skills- Focuses on solving conflict, not blaming; Keeps emotions under control.
