Qualifications Required:


Current Nevada Registered Nursing License Minimum of five (5) years acute care hospital experience CPHQ certification required at or within 2 years of date of hire. Working knowledge of Joint Commission, CMS, State and other compliance standards Strong data analytic skills using a variety of business intelligence tools.# Ability to learn and adapt to new programs and administer databases.# Expertise in graphic and statistical software. Establishes part quality evaluation plans from materials requests through material receipt (full life-cycle). Provides resolution and disposition of non-conformance materials to ensure adequate corrective action. Job Description: * Utilize quality science techniques to effect continuous performance improvement at assigned suppliers; * Reviews, analyzes, and reports on quality discrepancies related to process, assembly, manufacturing, mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, or electro-mechanical systems; * Ensure that performance and quality of products conform to established company and regulatory standards; * Use surveillance and auditing techniques to identify opportunities for process and product improvement; * Interfaces with manufacturing, engineering, customer, supplier, and procurement (as appropriate) to ensure requirements / expectations are satisfied; * Facilitate development of supplier recovery plans; * Monitor and evaluate supplier process for compliance to purchase order and engineering requirements; * Collaborate with supplier to investigate root cause and corrective actions when process or product deficiencies are detected; * Identify, plan, and facilitate cross-functional improvement activities; * Deploy variation management tools and techniques at select suppliers to mitigate risk; * Have performed Quality System Audits, AS9102 First Article Reviews; computer proficiency and proficiency with MS Office products. Strong communication and interpersonal skills required. Sourcing Engineer Perform value Engineering activities to take cost out of products produced at supplier locations. Supplier Process Surveillance (SPS) Evaluates and or appraises suppliers manufacturing capabilities to baseline the processes for conformance to the specific documented commodity checklists. Risk Based Assessment Training Evaluates and or appraises suppliers manufacturing capabilities to baseline the processes for conformance to the specific documented commodity checklists. Corrective Action Understand and implements a closed loop process such as problem-solving skills and root cause analysis to determine potential effectiveness of proposed corrective actions. Writes corrective action requests to suppliers, works with suppliers to develop corrective action plans, and follows up with suppliers to ensure root cause identification and effective corrective action implantation. Performs corrective action follow ensuring closure. Quality Technical Support Performs specific tasks as assigned and directed in support of quality activities which may include but not limited to administrative duties of coordinating internal and external activity, creating, maintaining metrics, reports and databases. Required organizational skills, knowledge of business tools and technology and may include the use of statistics and formulas. Source and Surveillance Evaluates and or appraises a supplier's product or process compliance to baseline the product(s) and or Processes for conformance to the specific requirements or process checklists. Required Education (including certifications): * Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a technical discipline, (i.e., Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Quality Management, etc.). * OR In lieu of a Degree, 8+ years of hands-on experience as a Quality Engineering in an Aerospace Manufacturing environment.
