Job Title: Quality Assurance Manager/Export Compliance Officer (ECO)
Focus: PCB, ISO, AS9100, MIL-PRF-31032, UL, Quality System Standards
Reports To: General Manager
To ensure that customer requirements and the plant's quality goals and objectives are met by designing, developing, implementing and monitoring an ISO 9001/AS9100 Quality Management System. This position is also responsible for monitoring and managing customer communications, customer complaints and customer satisfaction. In this capacity, the QA manager will also be responsible for managing various QA departments situated throughout the manufacturing process flow, including Automated Optical Inspection, Final QC, and x-section dry lab.
2.0 ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Managing all aspects of the Quality Management System i.e. Internal Audit System, Corrective Action System, Training System, Document Control System, Calibration System and facilitates 3rd party Quality System audits.
Monitors Supply Chain Management to ensure supply chain has all the information needed to supply a quality product on time and able to meet quality expectations.Holds supply chain accountable for performance and audits supply chain as dictated by the Quality Management System.
Interprets and implements standards and specifications relating to ISO, AS9102, UL Regulations,
Facilitates quarterly Management Reviews of the Quality Management System, gather's appropriate data, prepares for meeting, prepares minutes of meeting and ensures all Management Team members are held accountable for QMS actions/results.
Manages and directs the quality assurance activities for the plant to meet customer requirements and strive for continuous improvement.
Assist supervisors in resolving Quality Control issues, track quality trends, recommends and implements plans to improve quality and production efficiency.
Provides quality improvement education to the workforce based on needs assessment and overall quality goals and objectives.
a) Must comply with TTM Export Control Policies and Procedures and all applicable laws including ITAR, EAR and OFAC. b) Ensure compliance with the Corporate Export policies through implementation and enforcement of these procedures at the plant level. c) Provide training, assistance and support to all departments to ensure policy compliance. d) Conduct periodic audits as required. e) Prepare and submit ITAR and EAR license application documentation as required. f) Provide feedback to Corporate Export Compliance Office for continuous improvement of procedures and overall Export Compliance program.
Manage duties and daily priorities of quality assurance departments and interface with production management to streamline in-process quality assurance systems
The successful candidate will be a hands-on, success driven individual with:
Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent preferred.
5-7 years quality experience in a manufacturing environment.
Experience in PCB or laminates manufacturing or related industry.
Strong working knowledge of Quality Management Systems, ISO, AS9100 and working with Industry Specifications.
Previous auditing experience
This position requires excellent computer skills, communication skills, analytical and technical writing skills, interpersonal skills and the ability to manage multiple projects a must.
Must comply with TTM Export Control Policies and Procedures and all applicable laws including ITAR, EAR and OFAC including but not limited to: a) being able to identify ITAR product on the manufacturing floor and understand that access to these products and related technical data is restricted to only US Citizens and US Permanent Residents; b) recognition of Foreign Person visitors by badge differentiation.
