Quality Manager

The Quality Manager will collaborate with leadership to develop and implement robust quality strategies, procedures, and policies. We offer competitive compensation and benefits packages. Essential Functions:

• Implement and maintain Quality and Environmental Management systems to ensure compliance with industry standards such as IATF16949 and ISO14001.

• Direct and plan the Internal Audit program, including the development of Internal Auditors.

• Develop policies and procedures specific to Quality Assurance and provide support and guidance to other functions.

• Participate in and advance Quality Planning activities, including Supplier Development.

• Oversee and manage activities in the Quality laboratory.

• Ensure the creation and submission of PPAP packages to gain customer approval.

• Oversee the maintenance of PFMEA's and Control plans for new and existing products.

• Supervise the creation and updating of Process books for the manufacturing floor.

• Manage Document and Records Control across all functions.

• Interface with customers for corrective and preventive actions related to plant, warranty, and service parts issues.

• Provide coaching and counseling for Corrective Actions and Improvement.

Qualifications:

• Minimum five years' experience in Quality Management, preferably in the North American Automotive industry.

• Demonstrated experience in APQP, PFEMA, Process flow diagrams, and control plans.

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, packaging, or equivalent experience.

• Background in plastics injection molding and assembly.

• Proven experience with setting up and implementing operator policies and procedures.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Experience with Lean systems training is a plus.
