Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Quality Manager to join our team in the DMV area. We have opportunities in the Washington, DC area as well as Northern Virginia and Maryland. If you are looking for an opportunity in any of those locations, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Responsible for implementing methods to inspect, test, and evaluate products and production equipment.

  • Ensures products adhere to quality standards, and prepares reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data.

  • Works according to deadlines for the delivery of products. The Quality Manager III trains and manages production line staff in production practices and quality assessment of products.

  • Tracks products through the Development process to guarantee that each part of the process is correct.

  • Performs detailed and recorded inspections of final products, ensuring the products are up to requirements and user needs.

  • Identifies process improvement opportunities and software development risk reduction activities.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in STEM or Business field

  • 5 years of position-relevant work experience.

  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Teams and Project.

  • Experience in a Government QA project environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience providing quality management with software development and IT service management projects.

  • Relevant industry standard certifications such as Lean Six-Sigma Green Belt or PMP.

  • Experience auditing to external quality standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 20000, AS9100, and CMMI development.

  • Experience with peer reviews and process auditing.

  • Experience collecting and analyzing metrics.

Clearance Requirements:

  • This role requires an active Top Secret

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to be in a stationary position more than 50% of the time

  • Must be able to communicate, converse, and exchange information with peers and senior personnel

  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a computer

  • The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations

  • The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
