In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Resolves appropriate staffing needs, personnel assignments, and functional responsibilities for all Quality employees.

  • Monitors and supports customer complaint process to ensuring the organization is driving a thorough root cause analysis, documenting comprehensive corrective action plans, and providing timely responsiveness to customers for support request closure.

  • Leads Successful management of quality management system and product certification for various products.

  • Leads supplier quality management program from initial evaluation to part qualification process to confirm supplier capability is at the levels vital to meet Actuation Technologies delivery and quality expectations.

  • Supplier NCR and Material Review Board (MRB) process to ensure timely disposition of materials and appropriate root cause and corrective actions are taken by the supplier.

  • Supervises supplier performance and works with the Supply Chain teams to improve supplied part quality and reduce supplier PPM levels.

  • Advises Audit Program (Internal / Process Audits) to find opportunities for continual improvement in process and product quality.

  • Works with Electric, Hydraulic, Pneumatic, and Manufacturing Engineers to confirm procedure and process documentation are in place and accurate for critical operations.

  • Reports to the Global Quality and Site Operations Management Teams on key monthly quality metrics and the performance relative to improvement targets. Leads teams to identify root cause and corrective action plans when metrics don't achieve month over month goals.

  • Leads and updates QA/QC procedures and work instructions for the site.

  • Finds opportunities to improve efficiency and productivity of quality processes in areas such as receiving inspection, calibration, testing and others vital to ensure product quality.

  • Is responsible for the program for the improvement of quality culture. Identifies opportunities within the operations to create awareness, provide training, and generate excitement around quality for all employees.

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience in Engineering/Quality or related field.

  • Minimum of six years management/leadership quality experience in a manufacturing environment.

  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and engineering standards.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

  • Possess excellent communication, leadership and organizational skills.

  • Ability to handle multiple priorities

  • Strong validated understanding of ASME.

  • Experience developing and implementing systems to demonstrate compliance with standards such as FM, CSA, ATEX, IECEX, NACE, or customer specifications such as Shell-DEP.

  • Understanding of non-destructive testing techniques such as magnetic particle, dye penetrant, and UT.

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

  • Strong digital literacy including the use of Outlook, Excel, Access, and Word.

  • Knowledge of hydraulic, gas-hydraulic, electric & optionally pneumatic & direct-gas actuators

  • Understanding of the process industries, and knowledge of valve, valve actuators and associated control principles

  • Experience using Oracle or PowerBI is a bonus.

  • Knowledge of mechanical design theory including stress analysis, material selection, seal design, spring design, casting design, and conventional drafting standards

  • Leading in an environment requiring detailed quality certification document packages, full material traceability, and customer or third party inspections.

  • Possess strong understanding of handling calibration system.

  • Experience in the manufacture of valves, actuators, or other quarter turn industrial equipment is a plus.
