Responsible for direct support and coordination of quality activities for the physicians and clinical staff in the clinic network including but not limited to third party payer quality incentive programs and regulatory requirements related to clinical quality reporting. Develop a working knowledge of the applications utilized in the physician practice(s) as they relate to the acquisition and reporting of clinical quality data.
May abstract data out of the electronic medical records and submit to various payers for the purposes of quality reporting and care gap closures. Develop and maintain a list of clinicians/TaxIDs for the practice(s) they cover. Serves as the conduit between Corporate Physician Practice Quality Team and Senior Management.
Assist with implementation of policies and/or processes that support the delivery of high quality, safe and efficient patient care in the Clinic Network. Maintain knowledge and proficiency in current regulatory standards as they relate to clinician quality. Assist with other support/coordination to the Clinic network.
Serve as the subject matter expert on quality and safety. Assist in the development of educational materials for the Clinic Network Staff. May travel on occasion as needed based on specific project assignments and educational requirements. Perform all other duties as assigned.
Sedentary work performed in office setting. Requires constant hearing, speaking, vision and repetitive hand movement. Requires attention to detail despite frequent interruptions.
