The Quality Manager will lead the quality management from inception to production launch and throughout production cycle according to ISO/IATF 16949 quality standards. In this position the individual will have technical leadership and will be ensuring the quality management system performance is evaluated, and areas that need improvement throughout the Fabrication or Stamping Arenas are identified and reported to the Quality Director.
This person should have commitment to excellence be a good trainer and communicator. Also, strong leadership skills are necessary. Good knowledge and expertise in the metal stamping and fabrication industry are critical.
The Quality Manager will also be responsible to manage the organization's customer focus and response to customer related quality issues and subsequent internal corrective actions. Position Responsibilities: 1. Be familiar with the Quality Policy and Objectives. 2.
Understanding of IATF 16949 / ISO 9001 requirements and it is application trough entire organization. 3. Responsible for completion and submission of all FA's and/or PPAP's. 4. Train and supervise Quality Staff 5.
Monitor Department's performance through gathering and review of the quality data 6. Responsible for issuing, processing, closing and completing NC's timely. 7. Responsible for Material Review Board (MRB) and MRB area. 8.
Responsible for implementation of supplier, internal and external CAR's and PAR's as needed 9. Responsible for all gage calibrations, maintenance and records in UniPoint 10. Responsible for the timely updating Procedures, Work Instructions and Forms. 11.
Responsible for performing internal audits per audit schedule. 12. Responsible for the working with Quality Director regarding any resource issues supporting operations.
