We are seeking a skilled Quality Manager to provide leadership, direction, and oversight for Quality and Food Safety, including direct management of hourly associates within the warehouse. This position will manage the warehouse production area to deliver the required standards of quality and food safety, procedures, and practices as well as additional customer or regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and coordinate all aspects of quality assurance activities.

  • Accommodate requests for support from site and communicate policies and procedures in support of the business.

  • Serves as a point of contact and subject matter expert for facility associates in matters involving the quality management system and applicable regulatory requirements.

  • Ensure compliance within area of responsibility and make recommendations for improving effectiveness of the quality management system.

  • Interact directly with contracted customer's quality resources to mutually support quality and regulatory requirements

  • Investigate, act and resolve customer and internal quality issues

  • Ensure compliance within area of responsibility and make recommendations for improving effectiveness of the quality management system.

  • Develop presentations and recommendations for improvement opportunities regarding quality.

  • Prepares periodic reports on the status of quality compliance.

  • Leads internal and external audits as needed.

  • Develops procedures, forms, and documents to support quality functions and maintain site specific Quality Management System.

  • Conduct site specific Management Reviews and manage the CAPA program.

  • Provide Quality and Food Safety Training to all associates as applicable.

  • Responsible in obtaining and the maintenance of applicable certification (BRC, SQF, AIB, or FSSC 22000).

Pay Range: $24.75 - $34.84 Shift Premium: $.20 2nd shift & $.30 3rd shift Pay rate is dependent on a skill set and/or qualifications Eligible for $1,000 sign-on bonus after 60 days Your responsibilities * • Troubleshoot & repair machine electrical/electronics. * • Operate all machine electrical tools. Interpret electrical schematics and prints. * • Complete knowledge of electronic principles as they apply to industrial machinery and controls which would enable diagnosing problems and repairing servo-motors, electronic controls, processors, and other similar equipment. * • Must be knowledgeable of how to locate information to enable repair of new equipment. * • Ensures the maintenance shop area is organized, neat and clean. Identifies and acts immediately regarding any safety hazards, spills, etc. to avoid the risk of accidents. Uses safe lifting techniques and operates power equipment in a safe manner. Abide by all stated regulations while performing work, i.e., lockout/tag out procedures, etc. Maintains records to ensure accountability of time, parts and repairs. * • Performs preventative maintenance and necessary repairs to maintain equipment * • Inspecting, troubleshooting, repairing, and/or replacing mechanical components such as motors, reducers, drive chains, sprockets, sheaves, pulleys, rollers, conveyor belts, bearings, and transfer plates. * • Inspecting, troubleshooting, repairing, and/or replacing pneumatic equipment such as diverters, air compressors, lubricators, hoses, and coils. * • Inspecting, troubleshooting, repairing and/or replacing hydraulic equipment such as hoses, fittings, cylinders, and pumps. * • Place safety in the workplace above all else * • Work closely with machine operators * • Work any overtime * • Other duties as assigned * Your background * Education and Experience Needed: * • HS Diploma or equivalent required * • Industrial Maintenance or similar type Associate's degree or in lieu of degree 2 years' related experience in maintenance and/or education * • 3+ years' maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment preferred * • Knowledge of the fundamentals of industrial electrical application, pneumatics, hydraulics and control systems * • PLC troubleshooting and controls experience/knowledge highly desired. * • Knowledge of the fundamental of industrial electrical application, pneumatics, and control systems highly desired. * Specialized skills or other requirements: * • Professional written and oral skills are essential * • Ability to read prints and technical manuals. * • Ability to trouble-shoot and repair heavy machinery. * • Advanced understanding of Machine operations and diagnostics. * • Ability to effectively diagnose machine malfunctions and concisely communicate detailed root cause(s) of malfunctions. * • Ability to adapt to new technologies and manage multiple conflicting priorities and deadlines. * • Adaptable to change and ability to cross-train. * • Strong organizational skills; ability to manage multiple tasks and work well under pressure. * • Must be willing to attend classes for additional job-related training. * More about us We look forward to receiving your application.
