Current Registered Nurse licensure by the State Board of Nursing in Illinois
OSF Healthcare Nursing Division requires that all employees beginning employment as a Registered Nurse on or after October 1, 2015 are required to earn a BSN degree within six years from Date of Hire and proof of enrollment within your first 18 months of employment.
Minimum of 2 years progressively more responsible work experience as an RN in clinical areas
Knowledge of regulatory agency requirements and OSF policies and procedures
Strong computer and data management skills including working knowledge of specific computer software applications including Internet, Microsoft Word & Excel
Strong analytical skills necessary in order to gather data, determine conformity based on predetermined criteria, identify problems and assist in problem solving.
Attention to detail and ability to abstract data accurately and in a timely manner.
Ability to function independently in a self-directed work environment to prioritize tasks, projects and work without day-to-day supervision.
Interpersonal skills necessary to interact with internal and external personnel in order to exchange and gather patient care data.
Excellent oral and written communication skills to develop and maintain cooperative working relationships with a variety of integrated healthcare system personnel, regulatory personnel, and physicians.
