InGenesis, Inc. is seeking a highly qualified Quality Management Specialist to work at our client site in Chicago, IL.
4-year degree as either a Registered Nurse (RN), Respiratory Therapist, or other health science or clinical degree; 4-year degree in economics, statistics or business is considered as well.
At least 2 years' experience in a healthcare organization, facility or MCO.
At least 2 years quality improvement and/or project management experience preferred.
CPHQ, Lean or Six Sigma certification is highly preferred with 2+ years performing QI/PI projects with providers, healthcare departments and/or healthcare facilities.
Experience conducting training presentations.
Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
Data analysis experience.
PC proficiency to include Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Responsible for facilitating and monitoring of assigned quality improvement projects.
Host training sessions or Learning Labs with internal departments and department leads using real-life best practice projects, educating and coaching various departments on accurate quality improvement processes.
Support CMS audit preparation, CMS application submissions and program implementation of the Dual-Special Needs Program (D-SNP).
Assist with developing and implementing member surveys for the D-SNP program.
Understand and advocate for compliance with the D-SNP Model of Care (MOC) contract requirements and NCQA standards.
Function as preceptor for orientation of new employees, when needed.
Maintain and enhance knowledge of clinical nursing and regulatory standards by attending seminars, training sessions, etc.
Attend internal/external meetings to keep apprised of quality improvement and managed care issues/information.
Assist in day-to-day activities in an effort to achieve HCM annual divisional goals.
Practice within the scope of licensure and/or certification and accreditation standards.
Communicate and interact effectively and professionally with co-workers, management, customers, etc.
