ABOUT THE POSITION

We are currently seeking a dynamic Quality Management Specialist I to join our team at our office in Grand Rapids, MI. The QM Specialist I will assist in scheduling, performing and follow-up of onsite CMHSP and Provider audits for the Michigan Great Lakes region.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate CMHSP and/or Provider compliance with regulatory requirements including (but not limited to):

  • Physical facility site Assessments

  • Credentialing and Staff Training

  • Person Centered Planning/Individual Plan of Service

  • Enrollee Rights

  • Service Delivery

  • Assist with management of Performance Improvement Projects

  • Schedule audits, perform written assessments, monitor corrective action plans (CAPs)

  • Assist in collection and reporting of member satisfaction data

  • Participate in Policy & Procedure Review and updates

Position Requirements:

Education: Bachelor's degree preferred in social work, psychology, public health or related field; or at a minimum 3 years working in a behavioral health organization with at least 2 years of direct experience

Licensure: None required

Relevant Work Experience: At a minimum 3 years working in a behavioral health organization with at least 2 years of direct experience

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Analysis and problem solving

  • Interpersonal communication

  • Group presentations and public speaking

Responsibilities: * Work closely with the leadership of Enterprise Solutions and Digital Acceleration (ESDA) to standardize, improve and manage the quality of software deliveries * Develop and maintain repository of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodology, process, procedure, work products, job aids and standards from which all SDLC projects and releases will use and implement; Repository will include traceability and continuous improvement updates based on compliance policies, industry best practices, industry quality standards * Assess, measure and implement improvements to how SDLC projects and maintenance releases adhere to standards including SDLC entrance and exit criteria * Monitor high risk, high complexity or low scoring assessed teams, projects or releases more frequently including multiple intra-phase assessments to ensure high quality software deliveries * Conduct root cause analyses and recommendations for quality issues across the environments, organization and SDLC; Create and manage a quality management governance framework and overall ESDA (Employment and Skills Development Agency) Quality scorecard * Guide SDLC resources through education, training and adherence to the process standards for all software releases; Drive compliance and adherence to the established process and quality standards across Enterprise Solutions and Digital Acceleration organization Qualifications: * Minimum ten years of experience in technology software development, maintenance, testing, and process development * Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university; Master's degree from an accredited college/university is preferred * Experience in managing, leading and operating within at least one (Capability Maturity Model Integration) CMMI improvement project of at least a level 3, and in software development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies and approaches including DevOps, waterfall, water-scrum-fall, iterative and agile/scrum, packaged/third-party * Strong leadership in or understanding of CMMI, Lean, Six Sigma, Agile/SCRUM, DevOps; Certification in Six Sigma, CMMI appraisals, or Agile/Scrum is preferred * Highly proficient in utilizing process tools like ARIS, Visio or comparable process modeling tools, to develop and maintain measurable processes and procedures * Capable of building strong professional relationships with ability to influence all levels across the organization; able to set and execute strategic initiatives for team and creative thinker with ability to identify innovative business solutions with the ability to develop strategic organization and resource plans, defining next generation business and leadership needs KPMG LLP (the U.S. member firm of KPMG International) offers a comprehensive compensation and benefits package.
