Our North American Faurecia Clean Mobility Division is looking for a Quality Leader to be based at its Clean Mobility Crossroads in Columbus, IN.
Main purpose of the job:
Guarantee quality target achievements and prevent product risks by using quality tools in development of innovation product /process innovation.
The main missions of the role are to:
Ensure application of the Program Management System for Product & Process Innovations
For Innovation Projects:
Support development of Functional Analysis, Key Product & Process Characteristics, FMEA, Design and Manufacturing Validation Plan
Ensures all Product Safety, Regulation & functional performances are assessed
Contributes to the definition and approval of Product specification
Develop Control Plan for Prototype and Series Production, approve prototype characteristics
Support development and validate new inspection methods.
Ensure product is proven out by conducting variability studies & analysis of process capability
Contribute to the product/process risk assessment during the Acquisition Phase of innovative product/process
Contribute to creation and validation of product/process Innovations, incorporating Lessons Learned and best practice. Develop Innovation Control Plan, linked to PFMEA and KPC/KCC, and continuously improve.
Support hand-over and roll-out of product/process innovations to the Generic Teams and Divisions
Implement and ensure application of quality tools during innovation development phases
Apply problem solving methods like QRCI/8D, Ishikawa to ensure robustness of problem resolution
Provide reporting with transparency and frequent feedback to Engineering Quality Manager
The ideal candidate will have/be:
Minimum Bachelor's degree in engineering
3-5 years of proven experience in the Automotive Industry
In-depth knowledge of quality engineering techniques
Experienced in Program Management System
Experience in automotive mechanical and electronics/mechatronics quality control preferred.
Customer relationship skills
Above average communication skills, leadership skills and interpersonal skills
International mindset ideally bi-lingual
