About the role
We are looking for a Quality Laboratory Superintendent to ensure an effective and successful quality management system at our Boron operation.
This role is a great opportunity to drive the development and maintenance of a value-added quality program. Reporting to the Quality Manager, you will be:
Managing the quality assurance laboratory
Investigating and developing resolutions of customer complaints
Supporting the internal audit process relative to the quality management system
Supporting document control and change management systems
Conducting customer/supplier performance evaluations and customer satisfaction surveys
Supporting required inputs and outputs as per the ISO 9001 standard and assure that Boron is adhering to the standard
What you'll bring
To succeed in this role, you will have:
Bachelor of Science in Chemistry or related science field
Capability of performing analysis and building the business case for the quality program at Boron Operations
Excellent people/stakeholder management, communication, and writing skills
Strong leadership skills and the ability to liaise with other business areas at the service and occasionally corporate level
Working knowledge of ISO 9001 standards
The ability to make decisions quickly with regard to customer/quality issues
ISO 9001 lead auditor certification
Experience with TapRoot and other root cause investigative tools
