Job Description:

The Role:

• Entegris is seeking a 1st shift Quality Lab Technician for our Bedford, MA facility. Monday - Friday 6:00 am-2:30pm.

• The technician will provide analytical support for membrane manufacturing and R&D team, including but not limited to sample preparation and testing using GCMS, GCFID, HPLC, ASE, UV-VIS, titration etc.

In this role you will:

• Maintain a safe work environment and follow all EHS safety requirements

• Follow Standard Operation Procedures and conduct sample preparation and instrument operation

• Analyze and interpret test data and maintain documentation of test operations

• Remove and dispose chemical wastes in accordance with company established safety procedures

• Handle customer requests appropriately and in a timely manner

• Set up analytical standards, reagent mixes

• Communicate both internally with team members and externally with customers

Traits we believe make a strong candidate:

• A Bachelor's degree in Chemistry is preferred, but a related scientific discipline with at least 2 years of lab work experience is required; relative internship/co-op experience will be considered

• A strong scientific mindset and attention to detail are key to success in this role

• Ability to collaborate and work in a team environment is required

• GCMS and/or HPLC experience is preferred

• Some exposure to an ISO 9000 work environment is preferred
