Job Description

As a Quality Lab Technician, your primary responsibilities will include completing quality tests of magnet wire for various purposes such as quality specifications, investigation, design proposals, R&D, improvement, and performance. You will be required to complete testing on QA and experimental runs, action requests, sample orders, and more. Additionally, you will assist in preparing magnet wire enamels, thinners, lubricants, etc., and perform inspections and analysis of raw materials and chemical products to assure adherence to specifications. The role demands the use of chemical testing equipment and measuring instruments, computer programs, quality systems, and tools. You will also be tasked with maintaining communication with supervisors and co-workers to exchange information and maintain positive working relationships.

Work Environment

This position is based in a new 60,000 square foot facility in Franklin, Indiana. You will be working in a climate-controlled quality laboratory. The working schedule is a 3rd shift, 8pm-8am, following a 2-2-3 schedule, with training on the 1st shift, 8am-4pm for the first four weeks. The pay scale starts at $21.65 per hour, with potential increases at 4 months, 8 months, and 12 months.
