Quality Lab Tech - 2Nd Shift

Express Employment is currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Lab Tech. As a Quality Lab Tech, you will be responsible for conducting various metallurgical lab tests and inspections to ensure that products meet the highest quality standards and comply with regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform various lab tests and inspections on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products
• Record and analyze test results, and communicate findings to the Quality team and relevant stakeholders
• Identify and troubleshoot any issues or non-conformities in the testing process
• Maintain and calibrate lab equipment regularly to ensure accurate and reliable results
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized lab environment
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve any quality-related issues and implement corrective actions
• Document and report on quality metrics, ensuring that all necessary documentation is accurate and up-to-date

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience working in a laboratory setting, ideally in the steel industry
• Strong knowledge of lab testing techniques and equipment
• Experience with interpreting technical specifications and regulatory requirements
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
• Good communication and reporting abilities
• Strong problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
