The QA Lab Supervisor at the Bedford I2M facility will supervise and provide technical leadership to analytical chemists and technicians on two production shifts. The lab supports both production and R&D Micro-contamination and Membrane development. The Supervisor must assure equipment (GCFID, GCMS, HPLC and Titration equipment) is maintained properly. Accuracy of reported results is paramount while maintaining consistent lab lead times for sample completions. The Supervisor must recognize when equipment is not functioning properly and take prompt action to resolve issues by using hands-on troubleshooting and service contract support.
In this role you will
Provide direct supervision to Analytical Chemists and Quality Technicians on multiple shifts
Provide mentoring and guidance to lab personnel and develop bench strength within the organization
Influence R&D to appropriately deploy Quality tools and techniques when developing TM's and specifications
Provide training, guidance, leadership and expertise to the overall organization in the application of quality tools, statistical tools, software, and data analysis for performance measurement and improvement.
Actively maintain cross-training of lab personnel to maximize test flexibility
Recommend and implement procedural and process improvements
Drive Quality System Improvements
Author and/or review Test Methods, work instructions, test specifications, and other documents.
Understand Corporate EQOS Policies and Procedures and plant/lab-specific procedures. Maintain latest revision of needed documents at point of use.
Lead 8D analysis reporting whenever deficiencies in lab systems are identified.
Compile Monthly Lab performance metrics (Lead Time for Tests, Yields for Tests)
Demonstrate support for overall organizational goals
Demonstrate willingness to complete miscellaneous tasks as assigned in order to support the overall organization.
Participate in Entegris' continuous quality improvement process and demonstrate a dedication to customer satisfaction.

Traits we believe make a strong candidate
Experience in management
Strong analytical skills
BS or MS in Analytical Chemistry or equivalent
5+ years of lab experience using Gas & Liquid Chromatography equipment w/ strong equipment knowledge and troubleshooting skills
2+ years of lab supervision / management experience
Demonstrated knowledge and practical experience using standard quality systems/tools: ISO9001, MSA, SPC/SQC, DOE'S, 8D, Control Plans, Minitab
Ability to clearly communicate technical information to both expert and novice audiences
Strong written and verbal communication including conflict management and team building skills
