SUMMARY

Support the Pipe & Fittings Quality team - May 2020 through August 2020

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Support Quality team in document review and revisions within document control system EPDM.

  • Provide support for integration of documentation required by legacy Royal Pipe and Fittings plants to fully implement NAPCO Quality Management System.

  • Provide support and evaluation of packaging and related records for NAPCO Packaging Standardization Project.

  • Maintain records of progress and provide update reports to Quality Management and Plant teams.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • Student in third or fourth year of study at an accredited four-year college or university with a major in Business, Management, Industrial, Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.

QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. During the design and/or construction phases of many projects, it may be necessary to work in confined spaces, noise, heat, dust and significant heights above ground.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Must be able to travel up to 40-50% of time.

Climb ladders to heights in excess of 65 feet. Work in high noise and dust areas with appropriate PPE. Vapor-mist cartridge respirator may be required. Able to repeatedly lift 50 pounds unassisted.
