Job Summary/General Purpose:

Sprague is looking for a Quality and Integrity Specialist to assist in the day to day operations of delivering fuel oil, vetting carriers and monitoring proper delivery procedures.

Major Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Investigate delivery issues reported by carriers

  • Oversee trans to monitor deliveries to ensure required repairs were completed properly

  • Test carrier trucks with Sprague NYC approved meter prover

  • Assist Integrity Manager with truck inspections

  • Investigate and assist in carrier spill cleanup

  • Perform maintenance and repairs to the facility and yard

  • Additional responsibilities and assignments as required

Experience/Qualifications:

  • Must have a valid and clean driver's license

  • Ability to navigate through the five boroughs, Westchester County, Long Island and New Jersey

  • Must be available to work overtime and weekends as needed

  • Bilingual Spanish skills strongly preferred

  • Knowledge of plumbing strongly preferred

  • Understanding of fuel truck delivery system helpful

  • High School Diploma or GED

Physical Demands:

  • Stooping, kneeling, and crouching for extended periods of time

  • Reaching, pushing, pulling and lifting

  • Sitting in a vehicle for extended periods of time while in traffic

  • Lifting /moving weight up to 100 pounds

  • Ability to endure outside environmental conditions such as cold, rain, wind, and snow

A master's degree in nursing, health services, healthcare administration, hospital administration, public health, or public administration in the healthcare area may be substituted for one year of experience. If you are appointed provisionally, you must take the next scheduled Civil Service examination for this title and your score must be reachable on the resulting eligible list before you can be permanently appointed. If you do not pass the examination or achieve a reachable score, you may not be retained. Duties Description As a Nurse Administrator 1 (Psychiatric), you would be responsible for the direction and coordination of nursing services for a large number of individuals. This will involve direct and/or indirect supervision of professional and clinical staff. Your responsibilities may include ensuring implementation of facility policies and procedures related to nursing, initiating special investigations, scheduling staff, directing staff, teaching appropriate nursing techniques, and reviewing individuals' records for compliance with agency practice/protocol and developing a plan for correcting any deficiencies found. Notes: 1. If you fail to maintain your license and/or registration once you are appointed, action will be taken to remove you from the position. 2. In order to be eligible for appointment and to maintain employment, you cannot be listed as an excluded individual or entity on any of the Federal and/or State Medicaid and Medicare exclusion lists (or excluded from any other Federal or Federally assisted program). If you are appointed and subsequently listed as an excluded individual or entity on any of these lists (or excluded from any other Federal or federally assisted program), you may be terminated from your employment. 3. If appointed you may be required to become an enrolled Medicare provider; obtain and provide to your employer a National Provider Identifier (NPI) number issued by the National Plan and Provider Enumeration System (NPPES); and otherwise actively participate to the degree necessary to allow for your services to be billed through Medicare and Medicaid.
