Job Description

In this role you would have the opportunity to ensure product quality of Philips product thru the inspection process according to FDA standards.

You are responsible for

  • Assures on-time shipments of the manufactured product per QSR & ISO requirements.

  • Performs inspection activities by interpreting, measuring and verifying per released standards using specified measuring tools and documentation.

  • Coordinates to fulfill work assignments with other inspection associates based on manufacturing priorities.

  • Performs final acceptance testing of product according to procedures.

  • Adheres to the Quality Policy and Quality System Procedures assigned.

  • Ability to determine trends in the testing of products and to notify management when a trend is identified.

  • Generates Nonconformance reports as required.

  • Assures manufacturing equipment is calibrated and maintained prior to use.

  • Supports Manufacturing, Quality, and Engineering activities as required. Activities may include: Non-conformance Control; Change Order implementations in process and final inspection and in process auditing .

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • High School diploma or equivalent is required. College degree in a technical discipline is desired. ASQ Certification desired.

Minimum 2 years prior inspection experience utilizing test and measurement equipment and sampling plans.

  • Experience in FDA regulated industry. Experience working with computers is required.
  • SAP, Microsoft Word and Excel experience preferred Customer Focus, Action-Oriented, Building Team Spirit, Self-Development, Creativity & Innovation, Problem Solving, Ethics & Values
