Job Description:

  • Candidate is knowledgeable of higher level quality assurance (ISO/AS) system requirement documents and able to interpret and apply QA system level requirements while performing all quality assurance duties.
  • Candidate will execute quality requirements in accordance with customer approved quality assurance plans/policies and specifications during all phases of hardware fabrication, testing, first article inspection, and final end item inspections.
  • Candidate will perform accurate mechanical, physical and visual inspections, monitor and/or perform nondestructive test/evaluation, perform process surveillance using witnessing/monitoring techniques and verify test result/documentation of raw materials, components, and sub-assemblies per approved inspection documents/specification requirements.
  • Candidate will initiate non-conformance reports, document/report inspection results and monitor corrective actions implementation for effectiveness.
  • Candidate will maintain current, company and customer training and certifications to maintain a quality inspection stamp and meet stamp warranty expectations.
  • Candidate will work with company and customer personnel to resolve inspection questions and communicate technical issues to project engineers to ensure compliance with final product specification requirements.

Required Skills:

  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent
  • NDT Level II certification required
  • Must have a minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience in a QA inspection role
  • Candidate will possess a working knowledge of AS9100/ISO9001 Quality System requirements, possess the ability to read complex blueprints, technical charts, and specification sheets.
  • Preferred candidate will be an ASQ-CQI and have previous experience working with flight critical hardware in an ESD/FOD sensitive environments, witnessing critical assembly operations and testing of electrical cables and components and other complex assemblies.
  • Certifications may include: Cabling- Inspector / Operator; Crimping- Inspector / Operator; Soldering- Inspector / Operator; Surface Mount Technology- Inspector /Operator
  • Non- Destructive Testing / Evaluation, various methods
  • Program Critical Hardware Handling
  • Certified Weld Inspector

  • Position requires a competent communicator (verbal and written) with ability to work harmoniously and effectively with management, co-workers and appropriate levels of customer personnel. Required to be regular in attendance (per agreed to work hours) and available for 2nd and 3rd shifts; occasional overtime and travel for training may be required.

VIEW JOBS 11/14/2018 12:00:00 AM 2019-02-12T00:00 The purpose of a ROOM INSPECTOR is to inspect guest rooms after room attendants have fully cleaned them to ensure maximum guest satisfaction. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * Inspect the cleaning of guest rooms to achieve a high level of cleanliness and guest satisfaction. * Work with and train room attendants to ensure daily tasks are completed timely and accurately. * In the event that rooms do not meet quality standards, room attendant should be sent back to correct any issues and room will not be released until it meets standards of cleanliness and brand requirements. * Inspect housekeeping carts and closets to ensure that they are properly stocked. * Ensure Loyalty Program Members' rooms are ready and inspected prior to check-in time and ensure proper amenities are delivered. * Work with house porters to maintain cleanliness of glass doors and windows through the assigned building * Ensure cleanliness of all trash chute rooms by delegating daily assigned work to house porter. * Maintain cleanliness of hotel hallways, stairwells and elevators (vacuum/carpet exaction). * Support room attendants by cleaning and stripping guest rooms as needed * Communicate with the Front Office staff of any housekeeping delays or issues and make necessary changes to room status. * Fill out work order tickets as needed and ensure unacceptable rooms are not released back to inventory until items are addressed * Ensure lines of communication are open with the house porter. * Ensure work area is clean when finished. * Maintain daily paperwork. * Perform open and closing procedures for the Housekeeping department in the absence of the Executive Housekeeper and/or Housekeeping Supervisor. * Provides support to Executive Housekeeper in the delivery of incentives and programs that promote positive associate relations. * Provides support to Executive Housekeeper to ensure that guest satisfaction scores meet or exceed brand benchmarks. * Performs any other duties as requested by supervisor.
