Description
JOB SUMMARY:
Inspects materials and products, such as sheet stock, weldments, machine shop parts, and metal castings for conformance to specifications, quality standards, dimensional accuracy, and customer requirements.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) with minimum 3 years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read English and understand sketches, routings, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to communicate effectively with employees and other Company stakeholders.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to work with mathematical concepts of algebra, geometry, and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Requires judgment to plan and perform work, make decisions as to the sequence of processes within the limitations of recognized or standard methods and procedures.
