Position Summary
Perform in-process inspections, final inspections and testing of wiring and cable harnesses to IPC-620 Class 3 requirements
Perform inspection and acceptance testing of control boxes and other electrical/electromechanical assemblies
Perform inspection and testing of completed PCB assemblies using test fixtures
Perform inspections of purchased parts, subassemblies or finished products using visual, mechanical and/ or electrical measurements
Accurately document the results of the inspections and testing
Monitor critical equipment and instrumentation to ensure proper operation and calibration
Assist in the performing and updating inspection procedures, protocol and checklists
Evaluate non-conformances and make initial recommendations for possible corrective action
Position Requirements
IPC 620 Certification preferred
Experience with wire and cable harnesses required
Experience with electronics, electrical and electromechanical assemblies highly preferred
High School Diploma or equivalent required
2 years of QA/QC experience is required
Must have good English written and verbal communication skills
Working knowledge of measurement instruments required
Ability to read, understand and interpret engineering drawings and electrical schematics required
General proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
