Quality Inspector

A Quality Inspector job is currently available at Belcan in Oldsmar, FL 34677. This is a full-time direct position with benefits. Great matching candidates will have experience in inspection per IPC-A-610 and IPC/WHMA-A-620. In this role you will perform receiving, in-process, and final inspections of cable harnesses, electro-mechanical assemblies, circuit boards, and machined parts.

Job Duties:

• Perform receiving, in-process, and final inspection of electronics and mechanical assemblies

• Monitor and verify quality in accordance established procedures

• Control nonconforming parts per MRB requirements

• Maintain quality records related to inspection, calibration, and nonconforming materials

• Assist with improvements to the Quality System

• May perform work in production or other functions as business needs require

Required Qualifications:

• 2+ years of quality inspection experience, focused on electro-mechanical assemblies

• Experience with final inspection including FAI reports & AS9102 standards

• Ability to visually inspect using a microscope

• Must be able to use calipers, pin gages, and rulers

• Proficient at interpreting drawings, schematics, parts lists, IPC manuals, reference documents and work instructions

• Basic computer skills: MS Office Suite

• Due to the nature of the work being done all applicants must be U. S. Citizens.

• Job is onsite with a 9/80 work schedule

Preferred Qualifications & Skills:

• Associates Degree in Electronics

• Experience in aerospace harness inspections and build

• Aerospace electronics experience

• IPC/J-STD Certification

• Knowledge of Microsoft Visio and MS Project

• MRP, configuration management, calibration, and shipping experience

We provide a competitive pay and benefits package. This position is offering a salary range of $47,840 to $54,080 ($23-26/hr).
