Quality Inspector (1St Shift)

Arcosa Wind Towers, Inc. in Newton, IA is searching for a Quality Assurance Inspector for second shift. As a Quality Inspector you will provide visual/measured inspections/tests of materials/products to ensure conformance with standards and determine if products meet all requirements. You'll also complete inspection records, and report and follow appropriate codes and regulations.

Job Location: Newton, IA

Standard Hours: First Shift: 5:00AM - 3:30PM (Monday-Thursday) - Hours may vary based on production

What you'll do:

• Perform inspection of complex production systems or finished product

• Complete inspection records and reports

• May inspect incoming materials or plate, outgoing materials or fittings and welds throughout the manufacturing process

• Maintain attendance within acceptable standards

What you'll need:

• Experience: 1 Year

• Certifications: WIS

• Technical Skills

• Proficiently utilize inspection tools and measuring equipment

• Understand defects and determine acceptance status

• Education: High School Diploma or GED• Read, write and speak proficiently in English
