Molex is seeking a detailed-oriented and proactive Quality Inspector Technician to perform dimensional, attribute and functional inspection of assemblies, components, tooling and equipment utilizing contact and non-contact inspection techniques. In this role you will assist in the utilization of Quality Assurance principles and practices to drive continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.
Performs inspection of assemblies, components, tooling, and equipment to assess conformance to blueprint specifications.
Verifies the compliance of parts to the customer.
Accurately measures parts and documents all findings accordingly.
Completes inspections in a timely manner for incoming, in process and final.
Documents all NCM as reported internally. Provides accurate and detailed accounting of all aspects of the NCM, including quantities, area responsible, disposition and initial root cause
Reviews, updates and corrects the Work Center Report.
Works with the operations group to determine root cause and initiate the actions for corrective action. This includes accurate and timely documentation of the RCA/CAR in the Mie Trak System
Assists operations group with training on measurement methods and techniques and well as repeatable results.
Accurately completes customer required C of C in a timely manner.
Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
High School Diploma or GED
Must be able to read blueprints.
Must be proficient in measuring devices (caliper, micrometer, height gage).
1+ year experience in the inspection field
Skills and Abilities:
Ability to read blueprints.
PC skills: word processing, spreadsheets
Knowledge of the use of Micrometers, Calipers, Comparators
