Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:30 am to 4:30 pm

Salary: Low to Mid 50,000 / year (Hybrid in-person / remote)

The Quality Improvement Specialist will Perform and participate in activities to facilitate continuous quality improvement throughout the company. Monitor regulatory compliance; consult with and support programs around quality improvement plans and activities. Monitor, review, and audit records. Track and ensure the integrity of data; analyze outcomes; conduct data entry into various clinical and administrative systems; support staff to enter data into various data systems. Conduct, track, and monitor investigation process.

The Quality Improvement Specialist has a range of duties including:

  • Monitor the quality improvement process throughout the organization. Assist in the development of quality improvement plans and track progress of plans, when required. Provide the organization with the tools to ensure that all areas are performing at acceptable levels, meeting appropriate standards, and are in compliance with all regulatory requirements. Update and enhance quality improvement tools. Participate in quality improvement data collection and entry

  • Consult with programs and management around quality issues. Provide suggestions for improvement. Conduct on-site visits, as necessary. Facilitate the implementation of cluster Quality Improvement Teams, when needed.

  • Monitor, review, and audit program records and systems. Audit specific services for fidelity to standards. Maintain and track areas in needs of improvement for year-to-year comparisons. Conduct data analysis, as needed. Provide consultation to programs and management on systems improvement and data interpretation.

  • Track and monitor complaints and investigations. Act as human rights liaison to programs and regulatory departments. Ensure quality of documentation of incident and internal reviews and investigations. Consult on issues related to reviews and investigations. Conduct investigations.

  • Assist in the review, revision, and distribution of the Operations Policy and Procedures. Assist in the review and posting of Agency Policy and Procedures. Develop and maintain the OARS user manual.

  • Assist the Agency in CARF accreditation preparation and state licensing and certification Track and monitor MAP program registration, program licenses, and deficiency statements

  • Attend other department meetings, asrequired.

  • Perform other related duties as required.

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Three to five years experience in human services preferred.

  • Excellent writing and analytical skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and video conferencing tools.

  • Experience with Electronic Health Record keeping systems preferred.

  • Driver's license and ability to travel throughout Massachusetts required.

  • Candidates for this position must be at least 21 years of age and have held a valid US driver's license for a minimum of 1 year and be able to satisfactorily pass both a driving check and a CORI check.
