Quality Improvement Coordinator

Schedule: FTE 1.0, Day

  • 7:30AM - 4:00PM PST.

Under general supervision provides support to medical staff organization activities. Primary activities are focused toward collection and compilation of medical staff performance measurement and improvement process data, organization of reappointment quality reviews, and annual policy reviews. Position will be responsible for preparing Focused Professional Practice Evaluation (FPPE) Scorecards at initial appointment, for additional privileges, or clinical/behavioral concerns, and Ongoing Professional Practice Evaluation (OPPE) Scorecards at reappointment.

Required Qualifications:

  • 1 year Data management systems, including entering, maintaining, modifying/reporting information, and preparing charts and statistical presentations.
  • 4 years Progressive administrative or office management experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree Health related field.

  • Medical Staff Credentialing experience, familiar with F/OPPE processes as is relates to credentialing.

  • 2 years Related experience in medical office or health care facility.

  • Experience working with senior level or executive management.

  • Experience in a medical setting with experience in medical terminology.

  • Experience in performance/quality improvement.
