We have an outstanding opportunity available for a Quality Improvement Consultant to join our team at our Riley Children's Hospital location in Indianapolis. The Quality Improvement Consultant will be a key member of our Behavioral Health strategic plan implementation. This will be a full-time role working Monday-Friday on our day shift.

The Quality Improvement Consultant develops, coordinates, implements and evaluates the continuous quality improvement activities for the behavioral health service line. This Consultant works independently and leads specific work groups and performs ongoing analysis of gaps in clinical care and barriers to care, aligning interventions with the strategic plan. This Consultant also facilitates the organization's performance improvement process in collaboration with project team leader(s) and conducts training/education programs for the organization's staff and physicians in performance improvement methodologies, data analysis, data processing, work simplification techniques, as well as other subjects related to performance improvement.

RN and behavioral health experience preferred for this role.

Bachelors Degree required.

  • Masters degree in clinical healthcare or business preferred.

  • Registered Nurse with an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license preferred. Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) certification preferred.

  • 5-7 years of experience. Microsoft Office skills to include:

    Word, Excel, Access, Power Point and SharePoint. May require knowledge of data entry systems (e.g. NCQA IDSS/ISS tools, electronic health records, supplemental databases, HEDIS software tools). Occasional local travel (no overnight) and occasional travel for conferences.
