Job Overview:

Update quality gate inspection checklists and train quality gate inspectors. Collect data from quality sensors and apply to quality gates as necessary. Verify effective problem solving addresses top quality issues.

Responsibilities:

Update quality gate inspection list, including computer system administrative updates and training quality gate inspectors

Monitor data entered in the quality gates and provide feedback for improvement

Participate and contribute to quality sensor meetings, creating new inspections based on findings as necessary

Provide training to quality gate inspectors based on recent trends in vehicle quality and data usability

Update team boards as necessary to create awareness of current issues

Interface with production leaders to ensure quality problems are being solved in a way that prevents further defects

Present top defects to management

Support production in identifying and solving defect root causes

Uphold quality standards in the production line and promote an environment of teamwork towards the goal of zero defects

Resolve issues and/or conflicts as they arise in the quality gates, escalating to management as necessary

Participate in regularly scheduled meetings

Other duties as assigned

Qualifikationen

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in manufacturing, engineering, or related field
• 2+ years of experience in manufacturing (preferably automotive)

1+ year of product auditing experience (preferably automotive)

Knowledge and Skills:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• People and persuasion skills

• Negotiating skills

• Assertiveness in difficult situations, knowledge of current moderation and presentation techniques

• Knowledge in the application of quality methods

• Languages: Fluent in written/spoken English

• Strong skills with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

• Strong ability to learn new computer systems

• Strong ability to train team members in performing product audits and entering data

• Strong ability to understand technical specifications

• Ability to work well in teams
