Our Polymicro business within Molex is seeking Quality Engineering Technician to support our Phoenix, Arizona location. In this role, you will be an integral part of our commitment to excellence, directly contributing to the creation of value by ensuring the highest standards of quality across our products and processes.

By collaborating with quality engineers, customers, and suppliers, you will help uphold and enhance our quality systems, ensuring compliance and continuous improvement. Your analytical skills will be crucial in investigating production issues, developing solutions, and driving corrective actions that lead to tangible enhancements in our operations. This specific Molex site (Polymicro) is one of the world's leading manufacturers and suppliers of silica capillary tubing and specialty optical fibers, optical fiber and capillary assemblies, and quartz optical fiber ferrules.

What You Will Do

  • Assist Quality Engineers and/or teams in the development, inspecting and testing materials, equipment, processes, and products to ensure quality specifications are met.

  • Environmental Monitoring (testing, data review, analysis, & monitoring, Out of Tolerance EM Management, inspection and audit representation and support)

  • Assist Quality Engineers to ensure knowledge of all quality standards and ensure compliance to all quality manuals and procedures and collaborate with customers and suppliers to maintain the quality of all systems.

  • Assist Quality Engineers with internal and external audits

  • Test products per quality instructions and document test results utilizing approved Quality processes

  • Assist with creating, writing, updating and training on WI, SOP, and other necessary documents needed to perform quality work

  • Investigate and troubleshoot product or production issues and develop corrective actions, solutions and improvements

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Associates Degree or higher in a manufacturing or engineering discipline OR two (2) years or more experience in quality or engineering

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Experience working in a cross-functional team environment

  • Experience in continuous improvement and process facilitation

  • Experience with Microsoft Excel

  • Experience creating and modifying technical documents
