Job Summary:

Accountabilities & Responsibilities:
  • Adheres to Integer's Values and all safety, environmental, security and quality requirements including, but not limited to: Quality Management Systems (QMS), Safety, Environmental and Security Management Systems, U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, company policies and operating procedures, and other regulatory requirements.

  • Supports department in a variety of daily tasks.

  • Learns to work in a collaborative team environment.

  • Participates in and contributes to Associate meetings.

  • Assists team in identifying process improvements.

  • Learns process and procedures relative to business operations.

  • Participates in departmental projects aligned to company initiatives.

  • Performs other duties as required.

Education & Experience:

  • Engineering major. Completion of the first year of study is required. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Programs and familiarity with Microsoft Project. Self-starter, results-oriented, observant

Knowledge & Skills:

  • Special Skills:Strong verbal and written communication skills. Strong organization skills. Ability to follow written and verbal direction. Ability to operate standard office equipment.

  • Specialized Knowledge:Knowledge of business ethics and office management procedures. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office.

In this role, the Quality Engineering Intern will work to support Incoming/supplier, Process and Customer Quality Functions. AMETEK MOCON is a world leader in the design and manufacturer of oxygen and water vapor permeation instrumentation and gas analyzers used for the development of new materials and process control for the production of materials and environmental monitoring. Key Responsibilities: * Perform quick but structured assessment and produce training slides on Change Management Module in our QMS support Application, Intelex. * Help in streamlining and possibly automating Calibration Master List for gauge(s) due date triggers. * Work with QMS documentation person and process owners to review, modify and reduce the number of ISO 9001 process documents. * Participate in hands-on problem solving and resolution. * Work with Sr. Quality Engineer to develop process control plans for different product lines. * Work with quality team to implement ESD protocols and best practices in the ESD sensitive processes/locations. * Help perform and streamline incoming quality and outgoing quality inspections. * Help develop 5S program and establish cadence for regular 5S, daily, weekly and monthly audits.
