Summary
Develops, evaluates, revises, and applies technical quality assurance protocols/methods to inspect and test in-process raw materials, production equipment, and finished products. Ensures activities and items are in compliance with both company quality assurance standards and applicable government regulations. Performs analysis and identifies trends in the inspection of finished products, in-process materials and bulk raw materials, and recommends corrective actions when necessary. Ensures that established manufacturing inspection, sampling and statistical process control procedures are followed. May assure compliance to in-house and/or external specifications and standards, such as GMPs and ISO regulations. Evaluates and analyzes the efforts in organizing, documenting, and interpreting inspection support documents and records.
Job Description
Experience Level with Business Tools
Proficient in utilizing business tools such as: E-mail, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Experience with SAP or equivalent ERP product and productivity software desired.
LEVEL DESCRIPTION
Knowledge
Developing professional skills and experience as it relates to the Quality Management System.
Knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC) and integration with the Quality System.
Knowledge in material science or chemical background is desired
Demonstrate root cause analysis skillset
Job Complexity
Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors. Exercises independent judgment and discretion in solving complex business problems.
Support internal and external audits as required.
Education and Experience

Employee must be able to meet the following requirements with or without an accommodation.
Sedentary work that will occasionally require employee to lift/move up to 30 lbs.
Lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, or moving heavy equipment and/or supplies occasionally.
Above-average agility and dexterity with the ability to hold, grasp and manipulate small parts and use hand and power tools occasionally
Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and handle physical exertion, such as long periods of standing, walking, bending, crouching, stretching, reaching, repetitive motion, or similar activities.
Work environments includes: exposure to chemicals, electrical current, proximity to moving mechanical parts, and fumes.
Travel to 10% sites. Valid driver's license.
