The Quality Engineering function is the core of the quality group innovation. Resources tasked with this function should be true engineering minds, with am understanding of the PPAP Process, who can see inefficiencies, and thrive on the shop floor working to solve problems alongside the operators. They should be proficient in mass scale data analysis and interpretation and can communicate with and can relate to the mindset of an operator. Resources in these positions should be highly proficient in training and coaching.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Daily Shop Floor Problem Solving: Works almost exclusively on the shop floor daily alongside operators infusing quality thinking and local problem solving for cultural transition.

  • Identifies Internal Issues: Through Process Audits to scour the site for visible issues in the product and process. Coordinates immediate resolution.

  • Leads Improvement Teams: Leads formal Optimization Team related to product quality alongside Genesis and OpEx. Listens to operator feedback on issues that need resolved.

  • Trains / Coaches Shop Floor Personnel: Supports learning organization initiative through daily teaching / coaching on the shop floor. Imparts technical knowledge of the process and reactionary logic based on process deviation observation.

  • Becomes Technical Process Expert: Becomes a subject matter expert in area of coverage (extrusion, paint, fab., etc.).

  • Supports FSE in Customer Claim Resolution: Supports internal investigation of customer claims and complaints.

  • Manages / Mitigates Process Variation: Develops SPC tools and works to manage the output response to special cause variation. Mitigates deviations in R2R.

Job Requirements:

  • Must be able to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and industry standards.

  • Must have a knowledge of APQP documentation and PPAP's.

Education and Work Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree in Metallurgy or Engineering-related degree or relevant work experience.

You will also significantly contribute to architecture for ACP. This will be done through innovation and collaboration with engineering teams and related business functions. This is a critical, highly visible role within the company that has the potential to drive significant business impact. The scope of this role will also include collaboration with our internal and external strategic partners to build, release and maintain a Big Data Analytics Cloud Platform to support Change Healthcare Products and Services that deliver analytics, insights and predictions. Responsibilities: * Design & develop, operate and drive scalable, resilient, and cloud native open source based Big Data Analytics Platform to address business requirements. * Help drive technology transformation to achieve business transformation, through the creation of the Healthcare Analytics Cloud Platform that will help Change Healthcare establish a leadership position in the industry. * Successful implementation of Analytics as a Service delivered as a SaaS offering. * Design and engineer Platforms and Services to meet business SLA requirements. * Be a significant contributor and partner in the development and execution of the Enterprise Technology Strategy. Qualifications: * 5+ years of experience in Big Data platform engineering. * 5+ years of experience working with distributed systems in public and private cloud environments. * 12+ years of experience in software development building platforms, deploying and supporting them in production at scale. * Successful track record of building, releasing and supporting in Production, Big Data platform stack for enterprise class SaaS products. * Experience with Big Data eco-system, various projects and their capabilities, maturity level and usage patterns, is a must have. * Experience with some or all of these open source projects and other technologies: Hadoop, AWS/Azure, NoSql Databases, in-memory caching, Spark, Spark Streaming, Kafka, Calcite, Druid, Presto and other related projects. * Experience with delivering and managing platform build for internet scale. * Experience with Big Data based distributed systems, IaaS, PaaS and SaaS platform/cloud architecture. * Experience building microservices for Big Data platforms. * Experience developing systems in Scala/Java, Python and Linux/Unix environment. * Experience working with tools like Github, Gitlab, JIRA, Confluence and related tools. * BSCS, BSEE or equivalent, MSCS preferred.
