We are currently seeking experienced Quality Engineers to assist our Quality Manager at our Pine Brook, NJ facility in maintaining and improving the overall quality system related to manufacturing, customer support and technology development processes. We are conveniently located close to Routes 80, 287, and 46. We are looking for highly motivated individuals who possesses problem solving and project management skills as well as interpersonal skills to direct the activities of multiple small manufacturing/quality groups as required.


5 – 8 years of Quality Engineering experience. BS degree in mathematics, statistics, physics, chemistry, material science, engineering or the combination of education and experience.

Hands-on experience with SPC and FMEA.

Manages the supply chain by performing audits and oversees the incoming inspection area.

Knowledge of RMA System with a focus on determining root cause of returns.

Effective communicator with co-workers, customers, suppliers and third party auditors.

Capable of conducting research on product non-conformities and facilitating solutions.

Able to develop and implement inspection and sampling techniques, quality plans and process control procedures.

Must be able to establish and maintain metrics for control of process quality.

Responsible for review of drawings & specs for customer and government compliance.

Auditing knowledge of ISO 9001. CQA preferred.

Experience in Six Sigma, Lean, MBNQA and TQM techniques. CQE preferred.

ASQ certified engineer or Six Sigma Black belt certification desirable.

Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point & Outlook.

We are seeking an experienced, results-oriented senior test engineer to take responsibility for the technical management, maintenance, and development of test equipment supporting production lines at our Montville, NJ, headquarters. In this position, you will contribute to the success of our business by driving design for manufacture, designing and building test equipment, and optimizing test processes in our aerospace level manufacturing facility. High mechanical and electrical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively are essential skills for this role. Minimum Required Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering (or related field) with 5+ years of experience, or two-year degree in Mechanical Engineering (or related field) with 15+ years of experience * Skilled in the design and implementation of automated test equipment * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Ability to maintain positive relationships with co-workers * Computer skills: LabVIEW, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and CAD software Key Duties and Responsibilities: * Design, implement, and validate the performance of test systems to support the testing of valves, power supplies, and electromechanical actuators * Improve the efficiency of production testing processes without compromising quality * Manage the startup of new test cells * Plan, manage, and oversee all production testing tasks associated with a program * Alert management to technical and schedule problems in a timely manner * Identify materials and equipment needed and generate purchase requisitions and/or capital expenditure requests to obtain them * Ensure design for testing through review and approval of product drawings * Communicate and collaborate with all levels of personnel in other departments, subcontractors, suppliers, and other outside agents * Provide production engineering support for customer audits, failure investigations, root cause analyses, and other activities * Generate and manage the timely release of engineering drawings, bills of material, and other documents to support customer requirements * Train junior and production/test engineers * Provide technical expertise to technical writers, design engineers, and other personnel * Perform gauge R&Rs * Follow and adhere to AS9100, ISO 9000, internal, and customer quality requirements. Work Environment: * While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to conditions typical of a manufacturing/machine shop environment, including, but not limited to, fluids, fumes, airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, noise, and vibration. * The duties of this job are conducted in both a professional office environment and a manufacturing/machine shop environment.
