Full-time, exempt Reports to:

Quality Manager Job Description: The Quality Engineer leads the development and implementation of the organization's Quality Management System (QMS) leading to the organization's eventual certification to ISO 9001-2015.

Responsibilities also include, but not limited to, maintaining the calibration system, clarification and implementation of testing documentation, unit readiness for Customers, process audits, assisting with 3rd party audits and provides quality support to organizational projects from the planning phase to project completion.

In addition, provide assistance and support to the Quality Manager as directed or required. Quality Engineer Responsibilities:

Creating short- and long-term project plans, including setting targets for milestones and adhering to as well as holding others to those deadlines.

Assisting with the development of company policies, processes and procedures related to Quality and Production. Conducting or assisting with regulatory and quality training sessions.

Assisting with document control initiated by Quality Control to ensure unit readiness with the Customer.

Delegating tasks on the project to employees best positioned to complete them. Serving as a point of contact for all teams to ensure team actions are coordinated and remain in synergy.

Communicating with leadership on status and potential obstacles while keeping the project aligned with organizational strategy and goals.

Assisting in the development of improved Quality Control processes including, but not limited to, documentation uploading and picture packages. Maintaining Key Performance Indicators and preparing for communication to Customers and senior management.

Perform internal audits and assist with regulatory and customer audits.

Determining data-driven solutions and implementing quality improvement plans. Providing departments with quality planning and support.

Preparing and maintaining quality management documentation.

Quality Program Coordinator Requirements: REQUIRED: 2+ years of Quality Engineering experience working with Quality Management Systems, such as ISO 9001, AS9100, IATF 16949, ISO 13485 or API Q1.

Project management skills, including planning, scheduling and time management.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and public speaking skills. Strong organizational skills.

Expert proficiency in Microsoft Office programs including Teams.
