Boeing is seeking a mid-level Quality Engineer to work in Boeing Global Services

  • Government Services, supporting a diverse portfolio of sustainment platforms with program offices located in St. Louis, MO. This mid-level Quality Engineer will support the BGS sustainment business by serving as the BGS St. Louis Site CAR Focal, AS9100D Internal Lead Auditor, Early Quality Involvement focal, and Process Improvement Coordinator. This position is a high visibility, customer facing position that will require a candidate who is well organized, process oriented, and highly motivated to deliver results to our customer.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Lead and facilitate teams in the development of Corrective Action and Process Improvement Plans to address quality and contractual deficiencies identified by Boeing and our customers (e.g. DCMA CAR's).

  • Lead AS9100D internal audits to ensure compliance with contractual, Company and regulatory requirements.

  • Perform prime contract review in order to integrate contractual and Boeing Quality Management System requirements into all aspects of proposals and program processes and documentation including the flow down of quality requirements associated with inter-Boeing work transfer.

  • Performs analysis of GIDEP to determine impact and perform containment.

Security Clearance:

This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience)

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry
  • 3+ years of experience working with regulatory agencies (DCMA, FAA, and/or Military)
  • 3+ years of experience working with the management of suppliers, procurement activities, and leading process improvements and RCCA (root cause and corrective action) activities
  • 3+ years of experience in the application of AS9100

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Possess a current Lead Quality Audit Certification (ISO9001 OR AS9100)
