This opportunity is a contract assignment.
The assignment may require the candidate to work 2nd shift or 3rd shift.
The assignment may also require the candidate to work weekends.
Work closely with the plant Quality team, Manufacturing, Engineering, and the customer to assure products meets customer requirements and specifications.
Work with production teams to review the parts and ensure they meet quality standards.
Work with production teams to implement corrective actions in response to identified or anticipated quality concerns.
Follow standard quality processes for documentation and reporting.
Assist with the process to respond in customer portals and escalate when progress is not being made.
Assists the team to follow up on internal and external quality issues. Places priority on customer service and response.
Must have experience with Quality Systems in a manufacturing work environment.
Must be familiar with structured problem-solving methods (8D, 5 Why, 5P, etc.).
Ability to function in a high pressure environment and to meet stringent deadlines for completing tasks.
Ability to life and carry approximately 20 lbs (occasionally 50 lbs).
Ability to operate a personal computer
Heavy industrial work environment. This role will be exposed to temperature extremes, high noise levels, and moving machinery.
