Job Description


  • Directed and/or selected special/critical characteristics

  • Setting Quality objectives and related training

  • Continued involvement in quality planning including design and development when applicable

  • Dedicated involvement in Corrective and Preventative actions.

  • Monitors, tracks and trends warranty concerns as applicable.

  • Performing quality tests on bought-ins and raw materials

  • Timely availability of bought-ins and raw materials

  • Uninterrupted materials flow

  • Reducing the amount of testing required for incoming materials by shifting the responsibility of testing from us to the supplier onsite

  • Involvement in bought in FMEA's

  • Carrying out initial sample testing of bought ins and the documentation of samples and test results in conjunction with QMH

  • Demarcation of impounded goods and series samples

  • Determining procedures for warehousing, handling, packaging and transport of bought ins in conjunction with purchasing

  • Continued testing planning for bought ins once series production begins bearing in mind the experience and quality levels of bought ins and series Suppliers

  • Issuing of complaints (reject reports) in the event of non-conforming product

  • Coordinating decisions on use where bought ins are non-conforming

  • Processing, tracking and evaluating Suppliers' quality controls and bought ins

  • Assessing the quality capability of Suppliers

  • Checking Suppliers quality measures as implemented

  • Assessing Suppliers

  • Deciding on procedures for dealing with complaints

  • Performing materials testing

  • Coordinating staff activities

  • Coordinating and documenting all necessary decisions on non-conforming bought ins

  • Involvement in drafting staff guidelines

  • Implements staff training and instruction

  • Involvement in fault analysis at prototype and series levels

  • Cooperation with purchasing in the development and problem areas as they occur with bought ins

  • Agreement with production in connection with controlled component feed of new or modified bought ins

  • Supervise a staff of inspectors, layout technicians, and documentation clerk.

  • Maintain and improve our position as a TS 16949 certified supplier in the automotive industry.

  • Develop and implement pro-active technical and procedural improvements by independent action and through involvement in our TQM system.

  • Participate in the APQP process, including preparation of FMEA's and control plans.

  • Quality and testing planning (testing concepts and technologies for bought ins, JCI production and special testing)

  • Checking production capability and agreement with drawings and specifications, delivery conditions, legal requirements and production specifications

  • Involvement in and coordination of FMEA's for product, design, process and bought ins

  • Selection and procurement of testing equipment

  • Testing equipment inspection and monitoring

  • Drafting product specific testing regulations in conjunction with the drawing office (QV, product testing plan)

  • Design and procurement of equipment for testing functions and reliability including testing product acceptance and series monitoring

  • Carrying out and coordinating tests in connection with series monitoring

  • Introduction of new testing technology

  • Drafting of QV and test instructions

  • Planning product audits and evaluation of the results

  • Carrying out pre-planning for testing technology

  • Design and manufacture of gauges for random testing of incoming goods areas, production, and product audit testing

  • Release of accepted production materials


  • To be capable of writing process inspection control plans and process inspection procedures.

  • Must be able to work in an assembly line environment and hand on usage of wide variety of inspection tools and gauges.

  • Must be able to develop and follow written procedures and instructions.

  • General knowledge of manufacturing applications regarding welding, stamping, riveting, etc.

  • Must possess clear understanding of basic quality system operations. (TS 16949, SPC)

  • Supervisory experience preferred.

  • Self-starter, able to work with minimal supervision.

  • Demonstrated hands-on process and systems improvement experience.

  • Ability to prepare written action plans and justifications for equipment repairs/purchases.

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years in quality engineering and automotive experience preferred.

  • Automotive experience preferred.

  • Support the Product Introduction Process through all phases of prototype fabrication and delivery.

Lead Sales Associates perform the duties of a Sales Associate and act in a lead capacity in the absence of the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager. DUTIES and ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: * Provide superior customer service leadership; greet and assist customers. * Operate cash register and scanner to itemize and total customer's purchase, collect payment from customers and make change, bag merchandise, and assist customers with merchandise as necessary. * Follow company work processes to receive, open and unpack boxes, cartons and totes of merchandise; stock merchandise, restock and rotate merchandise on shelves, and build merchandise displays. * Clean the store; take out trash; dust and mop store floors; clean restroom and stockroom; and help set up sidewalk displays. * Assist in implementation and maintenance of planograms. * Open and close the store under specific direction of the Store Manager. * Perform additional duties typically performed by the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager, in their absence.
