Job Summary:
Join a leading Global Tier 1 automotive supplier as a Quality Engineer at our dynamic Fremont, OH plant. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the compliance of all QS9000/TS16949/ISO 14000 activities and serving as a primary quality representative to our esteemed customers and suppliers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Internal Audit Oversight:
- Coordinate scheduling, facilitation, and reporting of internal audits.
- Quality Assurance:
- Conduct plant assessments, manage Non-Conformance Report (NCR) tracking, oversee document control changes, and maintain quality records.
- Data Analysis & Reporting:
- Develop and update measurable charting and pack cards.
- Generate cost of poor quality reports and weekly customer RPPM reports.
- Issue Quality Alerts as necessary.
- Quality Control:
- Schedule and summarize dock audits.
- Customer & Supplier Relations:
- Act as the Quality Representative to customers, including problem investigation and response.
- Coordinate supplier control and performance reporting.
- Additional Responsibilities:
- Perform other relevant assignments as required.
- Uphold and advocate for all safety regulations.
- Organizational Skills:
- Demonstrate strong planning abilities and manage conflicting priorities effectively.
- Reliability:
- Maintain excellent attendance and show dependability in all aspects of the role.
Qualifications:
- Education:
- Associate's degree, preferably in a quality-related field.
- Experience:
- Proven experience in an automotive quality environment.
- Skills:
- Communication: Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
- Computer Proficiency: Knowledgeable in spreadsheets, Windows OS, and word processing.
- Statistical Analysis: Proficient in SPC, 8-D, 5-P, and VA/VE methodologies.

Pay Rate:
