Quality Engineer (Aerospace)

• Setup, program and operate CMM using design data to inspect make and buy components.
• Perform first article inspections and document per AS9102.
• Perform in-process, and final inspections.
• Document, track, and complete discrepancy reports.
• Perform daily/weekly/monthly PM on machines and document.
• Maintain configuration control on files and job records.
• OT eligible.

Qualifications:A minimum of 5 years of experience in dimensional inspection of aerospace components.Superior blue print reading skills including GD&T principles.Excellent communication skills.Fluent in the use of precision hand tools, gages, optical comparator, and surface plate work. Experience inspecting tight tolerance, high value components.Familiar with the use of personal computers.Self-motivation and ability to prioritize projects to meet completion dates.
